Perfectly Appointed

My family and I stayed at this property August 27-September 3. The home and grounds were/are so well maintained, no stains or dust, the furniture is in great shape and the design and attention to the detail shows in every room. We had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. The village close by has a great restaurant, some stores and fresh lobster off the dock! We had a wonderful peaceful trip with our teenagers. The property manager was responsive and so very accommodating, a real gentleman. I have no hesitancy recommending this property to families, couples traveling together or a romantic getaway. You won’t be disappointed!

A Wonderful Home with a Fabulous View

This is a modern updated home with all of the amenities one might need. It is actually as nice (even nicer) than the photos. The water view is fantastic and the deck has multiple options for sitting out and just enjoying the view. It is well maintained. Management is responsive to minor needs. This probably sounds like a sponsored ad and I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place rates it.

This is a stunning home in a wonderful location. The place is so lovely right on the water that you hardly need to leave. We enjoyed having coffee looking over the water, swimming from the dock, exploring Orrs and baileys islands, local restaurants etc. there is an excellent folder of suggestions in the house. The property manager, David Johnson, was really helpful. We will definitely come back

wonderful fall retreat
Four adults in our party and we all enjoyed our fall retreat to The Gills. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage cozy and warm. The fireplace was a nice touch as we dined in front of it with our many lobster dinners. David delivered fresh lobsters daily and spoiled us royally. We enjoyed our visit and the cottage tremendously.

Keep Maine Thing The Maine Thing

When we pulled up and realized just how close to the water we were a feeling of calm and serenity poured over us. This is a very special property and we will never forget it. From the Eagles and cranes flying overhead to the amazing seafood we cooked from a half-mile away everything was perfect. The property manager was wonderful to speak to and gave us some history of area which just served to draw us in more. The view, the air, the wild life, the sounds of music in the distance and friendly people will make this a return destination for us.

Fantastic!
 The property manager David was AMAZING!!! When I informed him out flight was delayed several times and we would be arriving in the middle of the night. He drove to the property and turned on the lights and heater so it was easy to see in the pouring rain. And honestly, it felt like coming home again!!!!  Whenever there was a question or we needed something David was there quickly and always a pleasure to talk to.  If you want peace and relaxation with people who really care about making your stay PERFECT this is the one. You can thank me later!!
